HandCrafted

At Dredge, the essence of handcraftsmanship resonates in every furniture piece we create. Just as one cherishes a pair of well-worn jeans, we desire our furniture to be a testament to time, becoming favorites with every use. It's not just about building furniture, but about sculpting art – paying close attention to the nuances like the grain of the wood or the junctures where metal melds seamlessly with wood. Our commitment to handcrafting ensures that every piece is unique, showcasing the marks of meticulous craftsmanship. We believe in rising above the ordinary by investing that extra hour, that extra touch, to produce furniture that stands the test of time. At Dredge, handcraftsmanship isn't just a technique, it's a philosophy.

SImple

When we are playing with the concept of a new piece, We are constantly asking β€œis this stripped down to it's core?”. Sometimes the design process starts with the piece in the most complicated version of itself. Then through the design process it is stripped down to it's simplest form while retaining the core concepts of the original idea. A sub category of simple is thinking local, and taking advantage of the materials, and processes that are readily available and unique to our location.

Sleek

You can have simple things that just aren't Sleek. We think it's important that our work gives the feeling of slimness in visual weight, and has an overall polished feel from genuine craftsmanship.
