Depending on the size of the order, and the size of each ordered piece a typical shipping timeline is 6-8 business weeks from time of purchase. After an order is placed you will receive a confirmation email checking that you are sure about the wood species selected and any other finish options that need to be finalized. (powder coating color, upholstery fabric, etc.) After this confirmation, material will be selected and initial milling will begin. After the wood's initial milling it will be left to rest for a couple of days to re-acclimate to its new shape and size, before being milled to final sizes. This helps the wood to stabilize and prevents cupping and bowing of the wood part way through your project. Another email will be sent when the finish has been applied to your piece(s) and once again when the shipping process has started.

All of our wood projects are finished with Rubio monocoat plus 2c hardwax oils.

Keep it dusted with a dry dusting cloth or a damp rag (not overly saturated with water but damp enough to help pick up the dust). Clean any spills as soon as possible to avoid staining, and the use of a mildly soaped damp rag is okay.
If you want to bring more luster to the piece in years to come the application of Rubio Monocoat's Universal Maintenance oil as it will enhance the sheen of the finish. (https://www.rubiomonocoatusa.com/products/universal-maintenance-oil)

Currently all of our metal parts are made from mild steel, and typically finished with a powder coat.
Powder Coat is our typical metal finishing technique, available in Matte Black, Matte White, or Matte Clear.
Other colors are available upon request, as well as hand rubbed hot-wax finishes over blackened steel, at a slight up charge.

We work with local sawyers who mill and dry their own lumber to procure the super local myrtle wood and big leaf maple. The Oregon white oak and Black walnut are sourced from sawyers and distributors in the Rogue valley.

Each piece in the Signature line has a few different options in wood selection or its metal finish. Wood species options typically include the following. (other options may be available upon inquiry)
Myrtle Wood
Big Leaf Maple
White Oak
Black Walnut
Big leaf maple and Myrtle wood are two wood species that have a lot of variety in both their grain patterns and wood tones. A single piece of Big Leaf Maple or Myrtle could have drastic color changes and grain pattern changes, which make the two woods very unique and spectacular to look at. However each piece paired against another may have slight deviations in color tones. At Dredge Design we love these two native woods and understand that the colors across the species will vary. We mindfully select and pair boards together during the material selection process to make sure that all of the components will work together harmoniously throughout the piece. Rest assured each piece made from Maple of Myrtle will be 100% unique.
